In Upper-East Ghana effective antenatal care (ANC) delivery is hampered by low-quality services and delayed ANC attendance by pregnant women, meaning high-risk pregnancies are not identified and treated in time. To reduce maternal mortality, a non-invasive testing kit was developed. This kit allows pre(eclampsia), anemia and diabetes to be diagnosed by community health workers during outreach in rural areas. At the same time women are enrolled in group ANC session to increase healthy behaviour and demand for services. At the marketplace this innovative testing kit will be showcased together with the group ANC tools.
